He proposed a pipeline that would connect Signal Hill to Long Beach, making the transportation of oil significantly more manageable.

The Signal Hill Connection

The alliance between Willmore and the Long Beach Oil Development Company was struck, and the first steps toward the creation of Signal Hill were taken. The Naming of Signal Hill
